You’re constantly beating yourself up for your food choices. You criticize your body. The mirror is not your friend. The scale causes fear and panic at the possibility of weight gain.
You feel like if only you did more – ate better and worked out harder then you’d finally relax around food and be happy in your body.
The reality is you are doing enough.
The cycle of restricting, depriving, and punishing just doesn’t work. There is another way – a sustainable, healthy way of relating to food and your body.
This is where I come in because with support and the right tools, you do have the power to transform your relationship with food and body. The choice is yours. And isn’t it about time?
As your health coach, I act as a guide and supportive mentor to empower you in your relationship with food and body and in taking responsibility for your health and wellness.
How I Work
My process is an integration of different fields based on my own experience and training using mindfulness, positive psychology, eating psychology, mind-body nutrition, and holistic/integrative nutrition. This puts you in the driver’s seat when it comes to your relationship with food and your body.
Mindfulness will slow you down, so you can get present and listen to your body
Positive psychology will help you foster a more positive mindset and empower you to take action to make positive changes in your life
Eating psychology discovers and addresses the root of your eating and body challenges with compassion, seeing them as an opportunity for personal transformation
Mind-body nutrition explores not just what you eat but how you eat and how you live
Integrative nutrition considers everything in your life that nourishes you on and off the plate
My approach is positive, empowering, compassionate, fun, individualized, and down to earth.
Together we will focus on what works for you and your individual body in all areas of your life because you know it’s not just about food.
You will make feasible lifestyle changes without restricting, depriving, or an all or nothing attitude.
